Partyin like a Rockstar!

Well, Michelle and I have been trying to get tickets to the Justin Timberlake Club Tour for weeks. We tried to buy them online the day they went on sale, and it sold out whithin seconds! We looked into ebay, and they were going for anywhere from $200 to $1000 a ticket! Wednesday night we came to terms with the fact that we werent going. THEN......yesterday, Kidd Kraddick announced on the morning show that Justin was hosting a listening party at the Best Buy and the first 200 people in line would receive tickets to the listening party and the concert held at the Gypsy Tea Room in Deep ellum. The Club Tour means they are only playing in small clubs all over the US and it is standing room only. After getting a very nice friend to stand in line for us, we had tickets!!!! With michelle and I being on the shorter side, we were concerned that we weren't going to be able to see anything. After getting inside we found a platform towards the back of the room and hung out there. The spot was perfect! we could see straight over everyones head. It was really cool to see a concert like that in such close quarters. He was 10 yards from us and we were at the back of the room. He started with "Cry me a river" and ended with "Sexy back" which was just cool live! At one point Mike Maddano (sp?) stood in front of me below the platform and everyone kept bumping into him, and then would say, "Oh my God, you're Mike Maddano!" I felt kinda bad that people would only talk at him rather than just saying hello. Towards the end we had seen Timberland, Big Al (he really like Michelle) and Lane Garrison from Prison Break. After hanging out with Lane, he invited us to his suite at the W hotel and in his Hummer Limo with some Baylor friends. Michelle and I got into the Limo, let him use my phone to call the W to make arrangements for all of us, then decided that it was getting late and went home. I know.... we could have gone on to the after party and then the Ghostbar, but it was getting late and we were tired. All in all, it was alot of fun! Thanks Chell for a fun night!
