Cupcakes + Cocktails

After seeing this party, I knew that I wanted to put my touch on this theme. I figured my 30th was the best time. I rented a boutique on Main St in Frisco, TX called the Blue Door Boutique. If you have ever driven by this store and not stopped by, you really should because they have a big variety of really great stuff. They are reasonably priced too! The ladies that run this store were fabulous to work with and made everything so easy. They were nice enough to clear a few of their display tables for us to decorate.

Here are some party details:

Invite made by my good friend and photographer, Travis Fragile Works Gallery

Cupcake base: made by my mother

Floral arrangements/Vases: Hobby Lobby arranged by my Mother (excuse my dad in the background..heehee)

Frames: Marshalls. Large frame telling cupcake flavors, small frames for each cocktail. The Tif-tini (martini) and the Sparkling diamond (champagne and pomegranate juice with a floating plastic diamond: Hobby Lobby)

This is how we chose to display the tags to sign up for the giveaways. Each glitter clothes pin had a tag attached. Guests unclipped a tag, added their name and dropped the tag in a bowl. We then pulled names for the giveaways...so fun!

Giveaways: bags/tissue from Hobby Lobby. I used my Xyron (new favorite toy) to create stickers for the front...very easy

Water Bottle wrappers: Made by my Sister. Look for her Etsy store soon for The cutest water bottle wrappers!

Cupcakes from Dimples Cupcakes in Frisco. They are good sized cupcakes and are really delicious! We went with Wedding cake, strawberry and Chocolate cream. The Chocolate T's were handmand by us and as well as the cupcake wrappers. Want to know how?? comment and I can let you know. Both were super easy!

Personalized petals: My mom and cousin surprised me with these! Aren't they adorable! They are packaged rose petals stamped with my name, cupcakes, and crowns. What a fabulous idea instead of confetti!

Mini cupcakes were ordered in Waco at What about Cupcakes and picked up by a sweet friend that drove them to Dallas! The edible diamonds were added by me. I found them on ebay: naturallygiftedny. We displayed them in blue and green chocolate covered sunflower seeds (marshalls)

Favors were hand towels rolled to look like cupcakes! I ordered these on Ebay: armani1031. They even matched the "wrapper" to my napkins

Drink flags (for the mocktail: Flirty 30 punch) were made by me. A skewer, fabulous cricket cut outs and hand written "Sips". All glassware was rented from Docky Bob's in Dallas.

Frame from Ikea. Idea from P is for Party! Isn't that the cutest photo booth!?

I had the best time planning this party. It turned out exactly how I wanted. If you would like to see the party pics, check them out here: Cupcakes + Cocktails.

My name is Tiffany, too :) I'm celebrating my 32nd birthday at Charming Charlies and was out on the web browsing for fun creative things to make for my party.
