The Nelson visitors guide

We spent Saturday in Waco with the fam and had a great time. We always love going "home" and I already miss it. Every ride back from Waco we talk about how we should move back and how we would love it. Maybe one day...

As soon as we got into town we met my parents and grandparents at their furniture booth at a local antique mall. If you have not paid a visit to the Cameron Trading Co on Austin Ave in downtown Waco, then you are missing out on some neat finds! My favorite thing to shop for at the trading co is furniture (old and new), antique jewelry, and Baylor sports memorabilia. There really is something for everyone.

One of the trading company's newest booth holders are my grandparents (Collectors Cabin). They make great furniture (tables and chairs, benches, etc). Go check them out!

These pails make great coolers for talgating or house parties. The picket fence wall hanging with hooks would be so cute in a childs room with a country theme.
This furniture is handmade by my granparents and truly one of a kind.
Then we were off to lunch and were joined by my Aunt Missy and cousins, Bradley and Ashley. We chose our favorite sandwich shop, Schmaltz. MMMM...it is so yummy!
Next, we were off for some shopping! First stop was the Baylor Bookstore which is a must for us everytime we are in town.

We ended our trip with stops at Amelia's fashion exchange, where there are always goodies to find and my personal favorite, The Spice Shops. THE best place for one of a kind gifts (for anyone you know and yourself!) in Waco.
Our next trip will include a Baylor Basketball game as it was always my favorite baylor sport to cheer for and we have not been to a game in years! Hope this little visitors guide from the Nelson family has been helpful!
