Can you feel it!?

Can you feel the excitement? The anxiousness? This is my favorite time of year...Holiday shopping time!! If your anything like me then you can't stand to miss out on fun times, and for me that includes BLACK FRIDAY! If you recall we are big black friday shoppers. I love a sale and these are real bargains! If you don't believe me, just look at our 46" flat screen that we got last year on black friday for $1200 OFF! If you ask me, standing in line was worth it...tiring and freezing...but worth it.

I do a lot of research beforehand and love planning my gifts for everyone. So where do I get my research?? My favorite site is http://www.bfads.net/ and have a membership where they email me when the ads leak out ahead of time. It is like Christmas in my email!! They also have a tool where you can click on the item you are interested in and it creates a shopping list for you. Too cool!

Last year I had the majority of big name retailer ads in September. So far this year we have only gotten Sears, Lowes, and a few other small ones; however I feel like we are on the brink of bigger name ads soon. So it is not too late to get in on the fun.

This holiday season in shopping is truly a buyers market. There were some crazy good sales starting even this weekend. For instance Stafford dress shirts at Jcpenney's for buy one get one for .99! Or Laptops at Best Buy for $299! And if you are buying online, ALWAYS check http://www.retailmenot.com/ for a coupon. 9 times out of 10 I find one on that site for free shipping or a precentage off.

Now I hope you are as pumped up and ready for Holiday shopping as I am. Happy Shopping and let me know what good deals you find....I LOVE a bargain!!

Thank you for the tips! I looove sales and I will share my favorite one of the year with you. Gymboree has a big red balloon sale the day after Christmas. I go and but the next size up for Hollyn (they also have things for that season on sale) I pay NOTHING over $6.99- lots of things for 4.99 or less! I am a little bit of a baby clothing snob but will not pay the full price- their clothes are THE BEST- will not shrink, fade, etc. I think they open early that day- and lots of things are in boxes and you have to dig- it's sooo fun!! I am sure you will have an awesome store in dallas area!
